Kitsune

Physical Description: Kitsune are tall and lithe, almost to the point of fragility, of a similar height to elvenkind. Descended from fox-spirits, the Kitsune resemble human-shaped foxes, with fur covering their bodies, and a fox-like tail sweeping the air behind them. Kitsune fur colours vary, most often slowly adapting to the colouration of the forest around them.

Some Kitsune grow wise enough that they grow multiple tails - legends speak of an ancient and wisened sage living hidden in some forgotten woodland who posseses the full nine tails.

Society: Kitsune live in harmony with their forest homes, often using treesculpting to grow their homes out of the trees themselves. Most forests are home to a single Fen of Kitsune, but larger forests may be home to several.

Kitsune Fen's are lead by a council of the wisest living amongst them, however, their innate wanderlust means that the membership of the council changes fequently - many travellers who visit a Fen often find a completely different group of elders upon their next visit.

Relations:

Alignment and Religion: Kitsune are generally neutral, with a slight tendancy towards good, however chaotic Kitsune are common. Few Kitsune tread the path of evil, but it is not entirely unheard of.
